Pallavi Shekar
Founder
Global Infrastructure Business Community Network Pvt Ltd.
Pallavi Shekar is a distinguished principal designer, boasting an extensive 20-year journey in the field of design. As the luminary founder of InterSkapez, a prestigious design studio celebrated for its excellence in architecture, interior, and landscape design projects, she has led the way in crafting visionary spaces. Furthermore, serving as the Chief Visionary Officer and Founder of Global Infrastructure Business Community Network Pvt Ltd. (Global Infrastructure Business Community), an exclusive networking platform catering to the infrastructure and construction industry, her leadership transcends design, impacting global infrastructure initiatives with unparalleled expertise and foresight.
In addition to her graduation, she completed the Goldman Sachs 10k Women Entrepreneur Management Program from IIMB and is now an alumni of IIMB’s NSRCEL. Her hobbies include a love for music, reading books, and being a skilled networker.
Pallavishekar has a remarkable history of involvement and leadership in various organizations. She served as the IMM past president for COWE (Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs), representing 30 districts of Karnataka in women’s empowerment for the past 10 years. She is also a Brand Ambassador and Diamond member of CWE (Catalyst of Women Entrepreneurs) and a Life member of Laghu Udyog Bharathi.
Her social entrepreneur goal is to educate a minimum of 200 rural girl children in her hometown, and she is already supporting 15 girl children.
Recognition and Awards:
In 2023, she was recognized as an emerging women entrepreneur on International Women’s Day and was awarded by the Bharath Foundation Group during an event held on the Vande Bharath Express.
Also in 2023, she received recognition for excellence in interior designing on International Women’s Day and was awarded by IETO (Indian Economic Trade Organization) during an event held at Hotel Hilton at Manyata.
In 2022, she was awarded as the Best Lifestyle Designer at the ET Awards, with the felicitation done by the celebrity Sunil Shetty at the Sheraton Hotel in Bangalore. This achievement was covered in the Times of India, Economic Times, and other Kannada newspapers.
In 2022, she was featured in the annual recognition of “WOMEN ARCHITECTS – 2022” article published in the Pan India magazine Women Entrepreneur India.
In 2021, she was awarded by MSME and Nlift Institute as the best woman achiever in the interior designing sector.
In 2020, she was acknowledged by the Times of India (TOI) as one of the top 14 promising lifestyle designers in Karnataka.
In 2019, she participated in an international design competition conducted by A+D, an international magazine, and received recognition as one of the top seven designers in India.
In 2018, she received the COWE (Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs) Business Excellence Award held at Vizag, Andhra Pradesh.
In 2017, she was honored with the MSME and Assocham (Government of Karnataka) Business Tycoon Award in the Interior Design category.
